Oh Yeah is designed for those looking for a way back, either from stagnation or ready to re-focus on their life and career after a break, and at their own pace. It speaks more to those who are tired of the endless juggle, exhausted from the day-to-day responsibilites both at home and work. You've spent years looking after others and work demands piling up. And you're ready to shift from feeling a bit empty from routine, lost and tired, to feeling more energised, valued and fufilled in your career and life ambitions. Whether you're thinking about starting your own business, changing your career path or want to go freelancing, Oh Yeah guides you through your early explorations with the curation of experts to help you further.
You can access the resources page, the written Q&A and watch a teaser of the main video podcasts with The Oh Yeah Crew. You cannot access the Oh Yeah Seasonal Guide, or the full collection of The Oh Yeah Crew.
1:1 career coaching is a fantastic resource if your current workplace offers this, or if you can afford to pay an hourly rate to suit your experience (often £200-£350 per hour). Coaching works best on specific areas, accountability milestones and a fixed timeline. Oh Yeah gives you the flexibility to explore the need for change, and experiment in your own time, with the full Toolkit as your companion. This includes access to insights, wider perspectives and meditations via The Oh Yeah Crew podcasts and live Q&As combined - all in one easy space.
It's a reading-style guide, designed to be a companion through all four stages of change with a balanced number of practical exercises. The entire guide and Toolkit brings together Kat Wong's 30 years of experience and perspective into one easy-to-use space. It is not an interactive, instructional online course, typically found on sites such as Coursera. Nor is it a syllabus-driven linear course with assessments developed and delivered by a team. If you prefer to learn in a more prescriptive way, for example a career change course (which can typically cost upwards of £1000 over a number of weeks), then The Seasonal Guide is not for you.
Yes. Assistive technology is widely available for text-to-speech on several devices, and it is a gamechanger and also free. You can listen on the go, or switch to this if your hands are full, or don't want to look at a screen (shout out to all the nightfeeds or sleepless crew!). For example, an iPhone can read the screen’s entire text out loud, or you can choose a specific selection. Go to ‘Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content’. We highly recommend choosing your preferred, premium voice. For example, ‘Serena, Premium’ is fantastic and does not sound like a robot (and again, is for free). ‘Speech Controller' also allows quick access where you can just press start to read aloud all content. For more information on other devices, including laptops, head to the support guides for the device you use. Subtitles are also available for all of the video podcasts.

It really is dependent on your own circumstances, there’s no set time-frame. Some seasons you may complete sooner than others. The guide is based on Kat Wong's own experience of moods echoing nature's own four seasons of autumn, winter, spring and summer (in the northern hemisphere). For example, The Reflective Season tends to relate to the colder months of January and February.
No. Although there are a few references, the Seasonal Guide is written in a way to support you at any time of the year. For example, The Reflective Season can be used whenever you're in a period of introspection, feeling more insular or low on energy.
To take full benefit, it's best to explore the foundational practical exercises from Season 1 onwards, rather than just isolate seasons 2 and 3. You have full access to the entire Oh Yeah Toolkit for a year to encourage you to discover and experiment.
Oh Yeah is not a recruitment or networking platform. It provides a step-by-step framework that takes a holistic, balanced approach to quality decision-making for life/ career changes. Oh Yeah's Resources page offers suggestions of networking and job platforms in the creative and entrepreneurial sectors, to help you towards your goals.
