Oh Yeah Tool Kit
Here’s a brilliant approach when it comes to personal development and I’m a massive fan of this tool due its sheer simplicity. In short, you’re capturing where you want to shift ‘from’ and go ‘to’ in one simple sentence. This focused goal-setting has really helped so many individuals over the years.
For example: I want to go from being ‘someone who’s known for being organised’ to being ‘someone who also has creative ideas’. And then you set about how to achieve that goal, which could be through formal learning, mentorship, or experience through your current role.
I’ve created some note space below with these prompts. Remember the Oh Yeah Way, where you're taking on a more holistic approach. Try and jot down intuitive feelings and don't overthink it. Feel free to write as many as you want:
Identify and jot down what can help you support this shift.
Identify and jot down what can help you support this shift.
Identify and jot down what can help you support this shift.
Similar to the ‘Stop. Start. Continue’ exercise in Season 1, you can do this over time, with further thoughts added as and when you have a lucid moment. They can often come in the most mundane of situations, I find, not just on clear blue sky days.
In the next chapter and exercise, we're going to dig further into the detail to further clarify your own values and guiding principles.
